The Stone Cottage

The Stone Cottage is part of the original house with thick stone walls. You will love the cool summers and sunny winters in this lovely colonial era suite overlooking the lake. It accomodates a family of four with a twin bed and two single beds.

The Lakeview Suite

The Lakeview suite has a stunning view of the Bhimtal lake. It’s the favourite of our grandchildren with its loft bed and window bed.

The Walnut Room

The Walnut Room pays homage to the Walnut tree from Baramulla which hangs over the same. It accomodates a family of four with the loft bed that is a favourite of kids.

A Family Run Homestay

Lakdeside Bhimtal is a family run homestay. Hari is a veteran, Brigadier turned organic farmer and Kum Kum wears many hats; a mother, grandmother, home maker, environmentalist, baking expert, organic gardener and mentor.

Having served the country for over 34 years, Hari now serves humanity with decades of knowledge of Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Naturopathy. His zeal to serve mankind in the field of holistic health, healing and wellness, has extended well beyond our national frontiers, extending from Australia to Vietnam.

Kum Kum is an expert baker, fond of entertaining and loves meeting new people. She loves to teach new cooking and baking techniques and while learning from others too.

Simply expect at least twice more than what you are expecting after reading reviews. This is one of the best homestays I have ever stayed in. Breakfast is amazing, Kumkum aunty is a master chef. I spent 4 days in bhimtal itself because of this property location. And how can I forget about Nandan Singh, he is an excellent cook, always ready to serve you with smiling face.
